Wild bananas have seeds, however, all bananas that are eaten today are cultivated and have been made seedless. Commercially available bananas are triploid, meaning they have three sets of genes, rather than the two that are normally present. This process makes sexual reproduction impossible. Therefore, bananas are grown from offshoots of the parent plant rather than through the process of fertilization that might otherwise take place.
Hi I'm Fabia and nothing excites me more than eating! I love eating out (even though my boyfriend tries to ban me) and discovering all the wonderful eateries of Sydney. We live in such a blessed multicultural city that its a shame not to go out and explore the food on offer. Hence i am sharing my experiences here so i can spread the love. I hope you enjoy reading the blog as much as i enjoyed eating the food. Enjoy!
i heart google
